| Since I work off an exchange system, I'm stuck waiting for the previous customer to return his/her core so that I can convert it for the next person. Since I'm at the mercy of the customers time table for returning the core, I can't charge a core charge. I don't want to hang onto someone's money and then get held up and make them wait. Doesn't feel right to me. I could charge a core charge right before I send the shifter, but I ship the next day I get done making it. Since cores come in all the time I don't have a set time table/schedual so if I have to stop, send emails and wait for money to be sent it slows up the process even more. Have to remember the whole time customers in line are waiting. If I ask for the shifter core up front my business would drop to next to nothing. 99% of the people out there are not going to want to take the shifter out of their daily drivers and send it in and wait. I fully understand this. Also the way I do it by sending the shifter first allows the purchaser to decided whether or not they like the product. I tell them in my email I send out with the tracking number if they are not satisfied all they have to do is return the shifter to me. We are both out nothing but the shipping cost. Pretty good deal to me....although no one has ever returned one to me :) I've only had one deal that is still unresolved. It involves a guy in Canada (member Dreamz or DreamsZ I think). I never got a core or payment back from him. He claimed no money as well. The Canadian police department works different from the US and would not get involved in the matter. I had to send the police after a guy in Cali before, and it worked.
